Nepal trekking presents Why visit Nepal?

Everest trekking guides for an incredible travel destination. Here are some advices if you plan to tour Nepal. Remember, you are on Holidays, Enjoy Yourself! The most important thing to remember is that you are on vacation, relax, have an open mind, and enjoy yourself! There is always a lot of spare time when on a trekking trip like Everest Base Camp. You generally walk anywhere from 4-6 hours a day, with the exception of a few longer days, and therefore have plenty of time when you arrive in the tea houses to relax, rest, and have a laugh with your fellow trekkers. It is important to have this time throughout your journey as they help to keep you positive and relaxed, instead of nervous and tense. You also have to keep in mind that you are entering a very different environment than you may be used to when going to Nepal. Things may not be done in the same manner as you may be used to at home, by no means does this imply that things are done wrong there, however they are just different. You must always keep an open mind and remember the fact that there will be cultural differences along the way and to respect those who are there to help us reach our goals!

Langtang area is famous for trekking. The area is less crowded and best for different kind of taste of culture and Himalayan views. The close up views of Langtang Himalayan range is mind blowing. The scenery here is spectacular, and the trek more adventurous as the area is visited by fewer tourists. To the west of Langtang is Ganesh Himal with a range of 6000 to 7000 meters. The Gosainkund and Helambu region lies to its south; these can be combined with Langtang to make treks from 7 days to 21 days. The area was designated Nepal’s first Himalayan National Park in 1971; it is inhabited by Tamang and Sherpa people whose religious practices, language and dress are much more similar to those of Tibet than to the traditions of their cousins in the middle hills. The forests in the region have temperate and sub-alpine vegetation. Wildlife includes migratory birds, deer, monkey, Tahr and Pika. The best time for trekking the Langtang area is spring and autumn. Most of the trekking routes in Helambu and Langtang are well served with teahouses making independent trekking quite possible. But there are no such facilities in the Ganesh Himal area or Ganja La area. A journey to the Langtang valley offers an opportunity to explore the Tamang villages, climb small peaks and to visit glaciers at a more comfortable altitude than other trekking regions.

We recommend : Manaslu region offers trekking, peak climbing mountaineering the most. Cultural tours to Muktinath, Tatopani and Pokhara area are the other form of visiting the place. Most of the people visit this area for trekking. Peak climbing is another popular activity. Tharpu Chuli, Thorang Peak, Tilicho Peak, Pisang Peak are some of the popular climbing peaks. Mount Manaslu and Dhaulagiri expeditions are the famous and challenging mountain climbing. Hiking in lower part of Manaslu region is popular for easy.

Altitude Headaches – A headache can be one of the first signs of altitude problems. Small headaches are common and should not stop you from trekking or worry you. However, it is worth mentioning to your guide and by all means if your headache gets progressively worse or you have other signs of altitude sickness it’s time to stop ascending or even head down. Altitude Sickness if allowed to progress is serious. If you need to arrange extra days on the mountain we can normally arrange that .

We recommend autumn (September to November) and spring (March to May) to trek to the Everest base camp. You may not have holidays during these times and still would like to do the trek to base camp, so still, you may do during begging and the end of winter. But you need to have very warm equipment. Trekking in summer (June-August) is not good. Still, until mid-September and end of May are not highly recommended timings because there will be fewer chances of the flight to Lukla due to the bad weather. The chance of flight cancellations to Lukla from Kathmandu and to Kathmandu from Lukla is a common factor any time of the year. So having some extra days for the Everest base camp trek will support to rescheduled the trek itinerary. If the regular flight has been cancelled, what happens? – Find the detail information about the flight cancelled and the alternative options here. It may help for mind makeup well.
